Hi, Iā€™m Esther Schwartz.

I am a board-certified clinical psychologist with over 10 years of experience specializing in the rapid resolution of psychological symptoms. In addition to my private practice, since 2016, I have been a Psychologist in the Department of Family & Community Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX. I am licensed to practice in Texas (License No. 37662).  I am originally from Los Angeles, but have called Lubbock home since 2009.

Education and professional Training

I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago (2000). I subsequently completed a Master of Philosophy from Cambridge University, UK (2003). I earned a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Texas Tech University (APA accredited) in 2016. I completed my predoctoral internship in clinical psychology at the VA North Texas Health Care System in Dallas, TX (2015).

In 2023, I earned Board Certification in Clinical Psychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology. The process of board-certification involves a credential review, peer review of practice samples, and an oral examination conducted by board-certified psychologists. Board certification assures the public that I have the background, training, and experience required to provide quality clinical services.
